The School of Finance always encourages the students to take an active part in lots of activities, covering extracurricular learning , school culture, public good and international exchange as well. The school tries to create an environment that is good for students' all-round development, aiming at training qualified and innovative people to meet the needs of the country.

As the first-rate academic and educational base in the field of finance in China , the students in where are in the fine tradition of studying persistently, diligently and positively. And so they are spoken highly by the whole university. As a result of the environment' influence, many kinds of students' academic activities are coming out fast one after another. And through these channels the students can research the hot spots in finance, communicate views with each other and pursue the profundities of knowledge in a wide terrace. Meanwhile, those high qualified and positive cultural activities also offer students stages to show their elegant demeanor. These activities are absolutely beneficial. For example, we won the champions of Group A and became the final winner eight times in succession in the “ 12.9” chorus competition of Renmin University of China. And during six years in the university' sports meetings, we once made a clear sweep of the final title, women's team title and men's team title five times.

Furthermore, the School of Finance creates a good international exchange channel for students. In recent years it has successively sent several ten students abroad to America , Europe, Japan , R. O. Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan etc. to take part in visiting, studying and exchanging. Such activities absolutely broadened their horizons.
